You musical style(s): Jazz/Blues/Rock/Classic Rock/Classical
Reason for pickup change: I neededa pickup for my acoustic so I went all over Chicago, Cincinatti, Columbus etc. looking for one
I found a small store in Wisconson and tried all the pickups in there when in the background I saw a pickup back in the back. So I say "What's that?"
He say's, "Jeez, I don't know, we haven't sold that forever. I'll give it to you for $20." I tried it out and it gives the cleanest sound
I've ever heard. That guy was kicking himself as I walked out the door!
Sound
Perceived output level: It get's pretty good volume level. It could shake my house and probably not get a distorted sound.
Tone: It gets a big, full, fat, bassy tone that I absolutely adore.
Sonic evaluation: The sound is great a defenite buy(If you can find) If your into full tones and fat bassy sounds go with this.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Put in the sound whole, kiddies. Any, acoustic rock, jazz, classical, folk....anything!!!
Overall Rating
Comments: I am totally satisfied with this pickup, I'd buy it again for $80! I compared it
to Markleys, Seymour Duncans etc. and nothing compared. A defenite buy!
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this pickup a: 10 Fantastic value
