Pros and Cons of Electronic Drums

Thinking about buying some electronic drums, but not sure? Here are some of the pros and cons of owning and playing electronic drums, as suggested by electronic drummers. Send me email if you have something to add to either list.
These are not absolute specifications, but things to consider. Electronic and acoustic drums are very different instruments, just like a MIDI keyboard and a piano. You get what you pay for, so you will find many more pros and many less cons with a good electronic set.
