The Effects Database
This database is a collection of comments from users of guitar and bass effects, from stomp boxes to full-blown rack processors. Preamps are also included. You can browse the comments to help you decide which units might fit your needs, or share your wisdom and experience with your gear. This database is dependent on people like you contributing, so if you have a couple minutes, please consider submitting a review.

Classified Ads
The Harmony Central Classified Ads provide an area to buy and sell used equipment. You can Post a Classified Ad (for free, of course) if you have something to sell or are looking for a specific item, and use the form below to look at the ads currently available. If you are buying (or selling) an item, and want to protect yourself from getting ripped off, you may want to look into escrow companies like Safe Buyer to see what they have to offer. Software
There is some software available that allows your computer to add audio effects in real-time to either a live audio input or a sound file. Click on your platform and look under the heading "Audio Processing" (which also includes plug-ins). Some of the programs listed under "Audio Editing" can also add effects, but generally only on sound files.
