I bought this case because it has an ATA rating & thought I may be travelling to europe in the future.In retrospect,I should've bought an SKB case-even without the ATA rating,I think they're probably just as solid and their customer service department answered my inquiry as to ATA status within a day.I've now emailed Gator twice in the past week(re the case has now warped to the point that there's a 1/8" gap at both ends) and still haven't received any response.

See above-customer service is basically non-existent.I have a feeling that if they offer to rectify this problem I'll probably be responsible for shipping both ways, so if anyone wants a usable case for $30 + shipping, get in touch.

I can see how this has the possibility of being a good product,maybe mine was made on a bad day by a disgruntled (Chinese) worker.(If I knew they were made in China,I would've gone for the SKB-nothing against China,humanitarian thing)
