Ease of Use: 8
Easy to use but I just didn't like the feel of it. I prefer the V847 or other models.
Sound Quality: 6
The Q & the tone where it is set at isn't set very good to me. Didn't have a good normal Vox tone to me and all I have ever used is Vox over the 30 years I have played. It also adds a little gain & distortion of it's own not much but enough to change things up a little to much. Also it would jump up in volume to much and I like to control my volume and when I turn on a effect it stays the same volume and doesn't go down or up in volume. It is also like the mid was scooped a little and I didn't like this but many of today guitar players might. I like a wah to sound like SRV,EC's, or Jimi's did and this pedal didn't come close. I like a good vocal sounding wah that you can talk with and you could not talk with this pedal.
Reliability: 9
It stayed in like new good playing shape over the 6 months I tried it out.

Didn't have to deal with company

Bought it on Ebay new. Prefered the stock V847 over this one even though they don't come with a true bypass or 9V adapter. would buy a V947 & mod it first before I would get one of these. A Budda is far better wah. I think people buy this pedal out of the hype instead of really listening to it. I think the $125.00 for this pedal is to much and that was a pretty good discount. Get yourselves a V847 & mod it you will be happier in the long run.

It's a wah pedal. Click on , you're "wahing" (is that a word ? if not , it should be) . Click off , your bypassed. That simple1
Sound Quality: 10
Im using a Peter Tosh set up
Gibson Les Paul Special and Fender Stratocaster into this wah wah pedal and and A-B signal split between a Fender Twin Reverb and Fender Bassman.
the sound quality has already been covered in detail so i will just put another stamp behind the words of the people ahead of me
Reliability: 9
Its dependable , but I dont know about gigging with it . It's pretty valuable , i think for gigging purposes , I would use a vox wah , and use THIS as the backup . Not as sturdy as a Jim Dunlop , but Ill take sound over stability!

Easy to get the Clapton Hendrix thing going. No sweat!!
Mine has a date of August 1967 on the Pot. Signature model with an Allen Bradley Pot and Green Arco Caps. Transistors are BC-109B old old British crown transistors. Great Wah There is no substitute.
Sound Quality: 10
What can I say. Not only do I own a Clyde, but it could very well be "HIS" if you know what I mean. This thing sounds more like Hendrix than Hedrix. I cannot believe I own one of these, I'm pinching myself. Awsommmmmeee incredible Disreali Gears sounds to make you climax. Halo inductor, can transistors and a top of the line Allen Bradley Type J Pot Yeaaahhhh Babyyy.

If it broke I would fix it myself. Too delicate, hidden treasure must not let anyone touch!!!

Only a few of them, and only a few good sounding. This Clyde McCoy is the best sounding Vox I've ever ever heard. Please do not try to tell me that anything will come close. We're talking Clyde McCoy with all the 18K Italian goods. Nothing even comes close

extremely easy, no adaptor though

Best sounding pedal I've ever heard - period!
Reliability: 9
Must have extra 9v battery, reliable for a 32 year old wah.
I would feel okay about not using a backup, but a backup would put my mind more at easy.

geoffrey tesse did a wonderful modification on one of my V846 - now he is retired from vintage repairs & mods.
