DigiTech S100 Multi-Effects Processor

September 26, 1997 -- The new S100 is a full-featured multi-effects processor designed specifically for the project and home studio markets. The S100 boasts two individual processing engines that can be configured in series, parallel or combined to provide powerful, true-stereo effects.

Housed in a single-rack-space chassis, the processor utilizes a 46.875 kHz sampling rate and 20-bit conversion to provides a myriad of tools, including stereo reverbs, multi-tap delays, chorus, flange, tremolo, detune and parametric EQ. The unit's dual processing power also enables two separate effects to be used simultaneously if desired. With 99 factory programs provided, up to 99 combinations of user-defined programs can be easily modified and saved via the S100's simple user interface. The processor also responds to MIDI, so programs can even be changed on the fly. Suggested U.S. retail price on the S100 is a highly-affordable $199.95, placing the processor well within the reach of even the most modest home studio budgets.

Built by the company that developed the world's first multi-effect digital signal processor, the S100 is yet another example of DigiTech's proven track record for designing powerful yet easy-to-use multi-effects processors with highly-affordable prices.
