LINE 6 Announces Guitar Recording Plug-In for TDM
September 26, 1997 --
LINE 6, a division of Fast Forward Designs Inc., announces the new AMP FARM Guitar recording plug-in for TDM. Utilizing the patent pending TubeTone(TM) technology in the TEC Award-nominated AxSys 212 Digital Guitar system, the AMP FARM TDM plug-in duplicates the tone and response of tube guitar amplifier designs in software through physical modeling. Amp models include programmable recreations of the original amps' tone controls, designed to allow recording direct-to-disc by plugging a guitar directly into the TDM system. Audio processing may be done on live inputs or pre-recorded tracks. Selected amp models are based on classic amps in use in studios and stage worldwide.
