Steinberg Announces Dance Pac Software BundleSeptember 26, 1997 -- Steinberg North America today announced The Steinberg Dance Pac, a complete state of the art dance music creation package for Apple Macintosh or Windows computers. The Pac combines three of the hottest pieces of software available today: ReBirth, ReCycle and Cubase VST. The Steinberg Dance Pac is available at Steinberg dealers in the US only for a MSRP of $649.00. ReBirth - The first true virtual analogue synthesizer for the 303 and 808 sound. It is a self contained techno-trance-dance-acid-house studio for bass-n-drums. Physical modeling is used to recreate the exact sound and feel of the original hardware devices. On screen you will find the same device surfaces which operate exactly the same way as the original instruments plus complete automation of all controller movements and added realtime effects like distortion and delay. ReBirth saves Patterns and Songs, synchronizes to the outside world via Midi Clock and supports OMS. ReCycle - The most powerful tool for working with sampled grooves. It analyzes an audio drum loop and automatically cuts each hit into a slice, isolating individual sounds. The 'slices' are then transmitted to a sampler placing each hit onto a key and also as a standard MIDI file. The sequencer now plays the loop one piece at a time. Simply enter the desired tempo you want to have audio loops work for you . Supports SampleCell, Akai S1000, 2000, 3000 series, Roland S-760, E-mu ESI32, E64, EIV, Ensoniq EPS16, 16+ and Kurzweil K2000/2500 samplers. Cubase Audio VST - The center of the dance studio. Integrating MIDI sequencing and editing with digital audio. With up to 32 channels of hard disk recording, mixing with full automation, non-destructive editing plus real-time effects, all entirely in the digital domain.
