The powerful combination of Opcode software with the high-quality hardware produced by these manufacturers allows users to assemble professional-level audio and MIDI production systems at highly affordable price-points. The Lexicon Studio The Lexicon Studio line of computer-based audio production hardware continues the company's tradition of delivering professional-level audio tools which lead the market in sonic quality and cutting-edge features. The Core-32 PCI Studio Engine functions as the heart of Lexicon's highly-customizable audio system. Providing access to a maximum of 44 audio ins and outs per Core-32 card, multiple cards and external audio interfaces can be added to expand the number of available tracks. "Vision DSP and the Lexicon Studio make for an unbeatable hardware and software combination," notes Bob Reardon, Director of Product Management, Lexicon Desktop Products. "Opcode users can now take advantage of our hardware's processing power, pro-level I/O and world-famous Lexicon sound." In combination with Vision DSP, Sonorus' STUDI/O card provides a highly affordable recording and interfacing solution, perfect for use in today's digital studios. "We couldn't be happier with the level of support that Opcode has provided for our hardware," notes Mark Lindahl of Sonorus, Inc. "Anyone looking for real-time effects and professional-level digital connections should check out the combination of Vision DSP and the STUDI/O." Lucid Technology's PCI24 The PCI24 from Lucid Technology provides AES/EBU and S/PDIF-format digital inputs and outputs on a single PCI card. When combined with Opcode's Vision DSP or other supporting software, the PCI24 functions as a high-quality audio gateway for signals going to and from external DATs, digital samplers, outboard A/D and D/A converters and a wide variety of other digital devices. "The combination of Vision DSP and the PCI24 provides an ideal setup for those who want the highest quality digital I/O and extensive computer-based audio recording, mixing and processing," states Mark Zyla, National Sales Manager, Lucid Technology. "For those in need of high-quality analog connections, our ADA1000 outboard converter provides a 20-bit front-end with both XLR and 1/4-inch connectors for the PCI24." Vision DSP's highly intuitive user-interface and sensible layout allows musicians with any level of computer knowledge to focus on the creation of finished musical works instead of "fighting the program" to accomplish simple edits. The addition of equalization and a refined MIDI engine makes Vision DSP a powerful, yet easily understood, music production package. Visit Opcode on the web at www.opcode.com.
