September 26, 1998 -- Steinberg, the market leader of music sofware on both Macintosh and Windows platforms today announced the MultiComp multiband compressor PlugIn for VST (MAC or Windows), Wavelab (Windows) or Direct-X (Windows) compatible host software. Multicomp offers comprehensive compression for up to five different, independent frequency bands. The frequency width and compression level can be easily set with a new editor concept for intuitive and fully graphical editing. With MultiComp it is easy to deal with even the most complex musical material and get subtle control over the recordings without having to make any compromises.
