Steinberg Cubase VST/24 4.0 Now Works With Pro Tools 24September 26, 1998 --
Steinberg, the market leader of software companies on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms, today announced the release of Cubase VST/24(TM) 4.0, the next generation of their flagship product that integrates native audio recording, editing and processing and MIDI sequencing technology. Cubase VST/24 4.0 now offers 96 tracks of 24 bit, 96kHz digital audio with Digidesign® Pro Tools 24(TM) digital audio hardware systems.
With Steinberg's Virtual Studio Technology (VST(TM)) recordings can be shaped with up to 4 bands of brand new hi-end EQ per channel for maximum dynamic range and subtle sound design. The VST Mixer has been expanded with four PlugIn inserts per channel, plus 8 Aux sends for addressing up to 8 effects or PlugIns in the Aux Effects rack. The master section offers bussing to the individual outputs to Digidesign digital audio hardware.
