September 26, 1998 -- TC Electronic is pleased to announce the M3000 Studio Effects Processor, the next generation in a series of high performance processors from the Denmark based manufacturer, according to Ed Simeone, Managing Director of U.S. Operations. The M3000 begins shipping in October, complimenting the M2000 in TC's product line.

"The M3000 is based on years of ongoing research in reverberation technologies for the creation of both real and imagined spaces." said Simeone. "It contains several all new algorithms including very highly advanced reverbs - it is by far the highest quality processor we have ever produced in this class of products. Short of our flagship M5000 processor, you would be hard pressed to find a better sounding processor."

The M3000 is a dual engine true stereo processor featuring 24 bit resolution Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog Converters, with a full compliment of signal processing algorithms including reverb, delay, chorus, flange, tremolo, dynamic EQ, pitch, phasing, soft compression, gate, advanced expander, limiting, and more. A fast and intuitive user interface provides easy recall and editing of presets which can be stored in RAM or via a PCMCIA card slot. The back panel features gold plated connectors and includes AES/EBU, SPDIF, TOS Optical, ADAT, MIDI and Analog I/Os as well as a pedal input. Multiple simultaneous digital outputs can be used with all of the digital connectors.

Additional features include a LCD display, LED metering, and 16 and 20 bit dithering and is based on TC's own proprietary C.O.R.E. technology (Coefficient Optimized Room Emulation). The M3000 is a one space rack unit designed as the ultimate solution in signal processing for musicians, studios and the recording professional.

Retail price of the M3000 is $2499.
