TC Works Announces MegaVerb for Pro Tools TDM
September 26, 1998 -- TC Works is showing the new TC | MEGAVERB, a new high end reverb TDM plug-in for Pro Tools/24 MixTM systems. TC | MegaReverb's unique algorithms are based on years of ongoing research and the core flagship technology of the M5000. With even better diffusion, denser tails and more realistic room impressions than ever before, according to Ralf Schluenzen, Managing Director of TC Works. TC | MegaReverb fully utilizes the new powerful DSP architecture of Digidesign's Pro Tools 24 Mix, via a graphic intuitive user interface with an overview of all relevant parameters at a glance. It can run up to 2 independent processors running on one DSP. Version 3.0 will also support Pro Tools 24 and Pro Tools PCI. Features include a 3-band crossover section for extra-smooth and fast reverb tail design, 6 different room shapes: Hall, Fan, Prism, Horseshoe, Small and Club - automatic room shape, diffusion and size defaults, and more than 50 high quality Reverb Preset programs including Churches, Halls, Stages, Clubs, and Plates; created by top studio engineers.
