CreamWare to Release EASI Drivers for Pulsar and SCOPE

October 1, 1999 -- CreamWare should be the first manufacturer of audio cards to ship an EASI driver for EMAGIC's Logic Audio series of MIDI/Audio sequencers. The driver for Pulsar and SCOPE DSP cards goes much beyond generic I/O capabilities and supports the full EASI specification for control of DSP-based mixing and automation.

"The EASI interface is an elegant and well defined specification that now allows to operate advanced functionality of audio DSP cards from within Logic 4.0. With the new EASI driver, Logic and Pulsar users can now enjoy better integration, shorter latencies and increased performance over previous driver implementations. DSP accelerated mixing and effects within the zero-latency environment of the Pulsar/SCOPE systems can now be controlled directly from within Logic Audio 4. The EASI driver for PC is expected to arrive within October, CreamWare intends to ship the EASI driver for the Macintosh with their upcoming Mac release of the Pulsar in November.
