SeaSound Expands Line of Recording Products

October 2, 1999 -- The SeaSound Solo was announced at 1999 Winter NAMM in an effort to develop a comprehensive solution to computer-based hard-disk recording: microphone and instrument pre-amps, monitoring, indicators, and more. Along with preparing Solo for shipment, SeaSound has been in development of several new products that continue the "high touch" concept: the Ensemble Pro and Transport controller.

The Transport

Transport

The Transport is a hard-disk recording desktop accessory, providing control of your digital audio recording software with large, convenient buttons. The Transport connects to SeaSound products as well as other MIDI control devices. It can also control any device that operates under standard MIDI Machine Control commands with it's built-in MIDI out port.

Transport Features:

  • Standard transport controls (Play, Stop, Record, Rewind, & Fast-Forward) for most digital-audio recording software
  • 9 Auto location points that are user-definable in your favorite software
  • Jog and Shuttle wheel Proprietary connection to SeaSound products
  • Standard MIDI Out for any device that recognizes MIDI Machine Control, such as keyboards, workstations, sequencers, and stand alone hard-disk recording products
