Another electric guitar and bass you're not likely to see in the States is Gus. Built by British Luthier Simon Frasier, Gus incorporates a carbon fiber/cedar composite into the body. The fretboard is cocobolo wood. The distinctive aluminum tube that wraps around the body is echoed in the specially designed tube pickups. Frasier designed the bridvge, while the tuners are Gotoh.
