Echo
Layla24 uses the latest-generation 24-bit/96kHz converters with distortion of less than .002%. It has eight balanced inputs and outputs, as well as ADAT lightpipe and optical S/PDIF. Other features include eight balanced +4dBu TRS inputs and outputs, and a software console for monitoring, metering, and setting levels.
Darla, like Gina24, includes two balanced inputs and eight balanced outputs. It comes without a digital interface, but still offers 24-bit, 96kHz recording. All of these Echo products offer a dynamic range of 115dB (A-weighted) on inputs and outputs, low-latency drivers for Windows 95, 98, and NT, Mac, and BeOS, a software console for monitoring, metering, and setting levels, and compatibility with all popular recording/editing software. Layla24 and Gina24 will both ship during the second quarter of 2000, with suggested retail prices of $995 and $495, respectively. Shipping date and price for Darla will be announced. |
