Sennheiser
The e865 is the first condenser microphone in Sennheisers "evolution" series. It can handle SPLs of up to 150dB. Built to an electret transducer principle with a super-cardioid polar pattern, the e865 features a frequency response from 40Hz to 20kHz, a sensitivity of 3 mV/Pa, and a nominal impedance (1kHz) of 200 ohms. The on/off switch is noiseless. The MKH 800 is perhaps best suited for recording acoustic music for Audio-DVD or other formats that can reproduce up to approximately 48kHz with a sampling rate of 96kHz. Based on the technology of the MKH 80, this microphone is capable of capturing frequencies up to 50kHz at the output. It has a dynamic range of 126dB, a frequency response of 30Hz to 50kHz, and a maximum SPL of 142dB. Price and shipping information for all these Sennheiser products will be announced. www.sennheiser.com, 860-434-9190 |
