Kind of Loud Technologies
KLT also introduced RealVerb, a stereo version of RealVerb 5.1 for TDM, RTAS, and MAS platforms. RealVerb uses complex spatial and spectral reverberation technology to model an acoustic space and pan within the stereo spectrum. It provides two graphic menus, with preset Room Shapes on one and Materials on the other; these allow users to blend room shapes, sizes, and materials in real time, with no distortion, pops, clicks, or zipper noise. Once you've created custom room presets, you can morph between them in real time, again with no distortion. RealVerb also includes intuitive graphic control over EQ, timing, and diffusion patterns. There is independent control over the direct path, early reflections, and late-field reverberation as well. Plus, you can spread and control the signal between stereo speakers to create an impression of enter and width. RealVerb's list price is $695. Plans are to begin shipping in the spring 2000. |
