One point made at the Messe that’s worth nothing here is that Spark XL, the high-end version of TC|Works's digital audio editor, is compatible with Direct Connect, a Digidesign technology comparable to Rewire in that it allows users to route the audio output from compatible applications into Pro Tools. This means that Pro Tools users will be able to apply VST plug-ins to a stereo track within Spark, and feed the result in their Pro Tools session in real-time. |
