Stage Frame One Keyboard System

Creamware's impressive work in progress is the Stage Frame One, essentially a PC computer packed into a keyboard chassis. A 14" touch-screen LCD allows for easy control over the preloaded software synths, samplers, etc. In addition, 14 endless rotary knobs down the sides of the screen further enhance user control over software parameters. At the Frankfurt Music Messe, the Stage Frame was merely being used to demo Creamware's soft synths, but upon realization the Stage Frame One should encompass synthesis, sampling, digital mixing, and hard-disk recording. Be on the lookout for more information later this year, though a production model of the Stage Frame One should not be expected until 2001.
