Novation
The Britons at Novation teased Messe-goers with a gorgeous mini-synth tucked away inside a Plexiglass case. The unnamed, silver, two-octave beauty twinkled with the possibility of budget-priced Supernova/Nova sounds. The only information the company would give out on the keyboard is that it is to be released "sometime this year" at a price of about £400 (roughly $650). From the front panel controls, we could tell that the unit is slated to be equipped with two envelopes, two LFOs, six different waveforms for the oscillators, an effects section outfitted with distortion, delay, reverb, and chorus, and four knobs to tweak four parameters of each effect, and much more.
