TC Electronic Creates TC UnitY Effects Card for Yamaha 02R Digital Console

March 11, 1998 -- Frankfurt - Prolight+Sound Convention Booth 6.1-D10: - In cooperation with Yamaha Corp., TC Electronic announces the "TC unitY", a new highend multi-effects plug in card for the Yamaha 02R digital recording console.

The card is sensed automatically when plugged into an O2R running software version 2.05 or higher, enabling access to all of the preset and editing screens designed specifically for the "TC unitY", according to TC Electronic C.E.O. Anders Fauerskov.

"Yamaha has been overwhelmingly cooperative in helping us to develop the "TC unitY" processor card for the O2R", said Fauerskov. "TC quality signal processing made available within a digital console, provides an alternative work environment for TC's clientele. Taking the intuitive and ergonomic user interface within the O2R and adding TC Electronic effects on top, creates a very powerful combination for both Yamaha and TC customers."

"TC unitY" is expected to ship May 1'st 1998
