T-RackS Mastering Software Already Optimized for PentiumIII®

March 3, 1999 -- IK Multimedia announces that its new T-RacKS™ analog mastering software will include optimization for the new Intel Pentium III®, already within the first release of the product (that is due in early April).

Optimization dramatically helps high quality real time performances both in sound processing and superfast response of the interface (internal benchmark made on PIII shows up to 250% performances increase in respect of comparable PII processor): two key factors for a heavy consuming application like T-RacKS where real-time performances are a must to make top-quality mastering.

T-RackS™ is the first and only software dedicated entirely to mastering. It offers a complete workstation with analog-modeled circuitry in each of its three discrete processors, and outstanding performance as the result of its sophisticated physical modelling algorithms. No other software or hardware is needed, only a standard Mac or PC. A killer-tool for any studio, T-RackS™ includes a state-of-the-art six band parametric equalizer, a classic mastering stereo tube compressor/leveler and a a multiband master stereo limiter.
