Status Graphite Enters Guitar Market

March 3, 1999 -- Status Graphite, founded by Rob Green, have been ground breakers in the bass world for the last 18 years, and this, their first foray into the mainstream 6-string guitar market promises to cause major waves within the industry.

A stunning one-piece graphite moulding, the first of its kind, has been developed over the past two years, using materials normally associated with the aerospace and F1 Grand Prix industries. The result of this labour is a guitar with incredible sustain and a totally unique tone.

The same graphite guitar body is available with either a woven graphite top, a curly maple top with various stunning translucent finishes, or with a choice of solid colour metallic lacquers. Other options include fixed bridge, two post floating tremolo, and a piezo powerbridge. There is also a choice of chrome or gold hardware throughout the series, and the custom-wound Alnico humbuckers deliver everything from 'Fluid blues' to 'densely saturated' rock tones with consummate ease.
