Ampeg
SVP-1500 Power Amp
July 12, 1996 --
This stereo/mono power amplifier, the Ampeg SVP-1500, gives you more versatility
and output than any venue requires. In stereo mode, the amp puts out over 750
watts per channel into a 2 ohm load with both channels driven (480 watts into
4 ohms, 280 watts into 8 ohms). When you bridge the amp, you'll get 1560 watts
into 4 ohms ensuring headroom beyond compare. The amp features 1/4" inputs
and 1/4" or 5-way binding posts for outputs, MOSFET power section with short circuit,
over-temperature and DC protection, a variable speed fan for optimum operating
temperature, and independent optocoupler limiters for clean output without clipping.
