Boss OD-3 OverDrive

July 11, 1997 -- In 1977, BOSS introduced the now-legendary OD-1 - the world's first compact overdrive pedal for guitarists. The rich, warm tones that this stompbox produced immediately set it apart from the harsh distortion boxes that had come before it, establishing BOSS pedals as a guitarist's best friend...

20 years later, BOSS has released the amazing OD-3 OverDrive-its most dynamic overdrive pedal to date. The OD-3 gives guitarists a greatly expanded range of smooth overdrive tones and improved dynamic response while staying true to that classic original.

The OD-3's newly developed Dual-Stage Overdrive Circuit offers a level of sustain and compression unmatched by any overdrive pedal in history, with dramatically increased full bass response and a "bigger" sound than ever before. OD-3 tones are dynamic and unmuffled-reminiscent of classic overdriven "stack" amps.

Tonal shaping is provided via straightforward Drive, Tone and Level controls. And like all of BOSS's time-tested, road-worthy pedals, the OD-3 OverDrive carries a five-year warranty.

BOSS products are manufactured and distributed by Roland Corporation.
