Fender Rock-ola Jukebox

July 11, 1997 -- From the company who helped define an era of modern music with classic sound and style comes another classic-the Fender Rock-ola Jukebox, an electrifying union of 1950s popular culture and 1990s sonic performance.

"Just as the Fender name is synonymous with rock and roll, the jukebox is an American icon that has come to represent the energy-driven, musical era our guitars and amplifiers helped shape, and continue to shape," noted Brad Townsend, vice president of Fender's strings, picks and accessories division. "The Fender Rock-ola Jukebox captures an important piece of American history and gives it a contemporary sonic twist that's bound to delight collectors, music lovers and nostalgia buffs alike."

For starters, the Fender Rock-ola Jukebox packs a whopping 810 watts of music power and boasts a 100-CD capacity magazine as well as a Phillips compact disc player with automatic disc mapping and self-adjusting laser. It also features a dual amplifier with Surround Sound, five speakers, a dual three-way system for "live" performance reproduction, infra red remote controls, programmable page options, 32-character liquid crystal display, one-button command to change CDs, and an Intel processor with 2 MB of memory.

Visually as stunning as it is conically appealing, the Rock-ola's four bubble tubes and motor-driven color cylinders add dynamic color and a hypnotic visual effect to the jukebox's appeal. Bubbles of air rise to the top of tubes and, in turn, they're surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors flowing through the translucent plastic cylinders.

Other specialty features include coin-operated or "free-play " options, single-play or album-play options, and a 27-button Deluxe Remote Control.

The Fender Rock-ola Jukebox-which is 60 inches high, 33 inches wide and 27 inches deep-comes in a stunning array of hardwood finishes: Walnut, Satinwood, Alder, Poplar and Oak. Its die-cast metal trim is triple-plated with copper, nickel and chrome.

To order the Fender Rock-ola Jukebox, authorized Fender dealers may contact their Fender sales representatives, and others may call BMJ Promotions at 800-926-2651.
