Guild D4G Natural Gloss Guitar

July 11, 1997 -- Responding to dealers' requests for an affordable, American-made, gloss-finished instrument, Guild Guitars is pleased to introduce the new D4G Natural Gloss guitar. The new gloss finish makes the low priced American D4 more attractive without a significant price increase. The Guild D4G will be featured at the Nashville NAMM show.

The D4G is a traditional Guild dreadnought with a solid spruce top, solid mahogany sides and an arched mahogany back. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays.

The new Natural Gloss finish has a beautiful sheen and clarity that is achieved by using a specially developed Guild finishing process . The finish is available only in Natural with no wood tinting.

Production on this highly anticipated model begins in June 1997.
