Marshall JCM600 All Tube Head
July 11, 1997 -- Marshall Amplification announces the addition of the JCM600 head and the JCMC410A & B speaker cabinets to their new JCM600 range of amplifiers. The JCM600 head shares many of the features of the JCM601 & 602 combo amplifiers, including an output rating of 60-Watts, two critically acclaimed Svetlana EL34 power valves and four 12AX7 pre-amp valves for the legendary Marshall "All Valve Sound." The new JCM600 is loaded with features such as: two totally independent channels (Clean & Overdrive); dual reverb controls; a Parallel FX loop with Mix control on the front panel; a Series FX loop; a Master Presence control on the back panel; three-band EQ (bass, middle, treble) for each channel and an XLR direct line out with switchable Speaker Emulation circuitry. The output stage of the JCM600 head was specially designed to drive the matching Marshall JCMC410 A (angled front) & JCMC410B (straight front) speaker cabinets. Both are equipped with four custom designed 30-Watt, 10" Celestion "Heritage" speakers. The JCM600 head can be combined with a single JCMC410 cabinet to form a powerful compact half-stack, or with two JCMC410s to create a full stack. The JCM600 head has a suggested retail price of $1049.00. The JCMC410A or 410B have a suggested retail price of $599.00. All products are available immediately.
