Marshall VS120/120 Stereo Power Amplifier

July 11, 1997 -- Marshall Amplification is introducing the VS120/120 Stereo Power Amplifier, a 2U rack-mountable, 120-Watts per side amplifier with ample power for virtually any application.

The new VS120/120 is the result of several years of research and development at Marshall and relies on technology designed to emulate many of the sonic characteristics of a valve power amplifier, e.g., the damping exerted by a valve power amp on the loudspeakers and how that changes at different frequencies.

The VS120/120 also features a foot-switchable Resonance control which enhances low end "thud." In addition, the new power amplifier includes a Dimension switch which enables it to achieve a fully "cranked-up" sound and tone at "neighbor-friendly" levels.

The new Marshall VS120/120 Stereo Power Amplifier has a suggested list price of $849.00 and will be available in September.
