Otari Shows DTR-8S Pro DAT Machine

July 11, 1997 -- Foster City, CA-Otari Corporation is pleased to announce the arrival of the DTR-8S professional DAT machine. The DTR-8S incorporates all the features of its predecessor, the DTR-8, along with the added capability of monitoring input signal without the need to have a DAT tape in the unit. Other Otari standard features are an hour meter to help schedule maintenance, rack mount adapters, wireless remote control, parallel remote control capabilities. The DTR-8S is built to provide years of reliable service in the demanding broadcast and post production environment.
