Audio Centron FXP Signal Processor
July 11, 1997 -- Audio Centron's FXP Digital Signal Processor features a wide variety of presets, up to 15 editable parameters and user-friendly operation at an affordable price. The FXP digital signal processor allows extensive ease and control in sound shaping. The 19" rack mount unit consists of an Advanced Multi-Editor, which allows the user to easily edit and save from 4 up to 15 parameters per program. The FXP has 50 preset and 50 user programs and a wide range of effects including numerous types of reverb, delay, chorus, flanger and layered multi-effects programs. The retail price for the Audio Centron FXP is $285.00 while the optional ACFS dual footswitch lists for $26.00. The FXP is uniquely positioned as a versatile unit that offers power and ease of operation and until now, found only in units three times its price. The FXP is equally suited to home and project studios, live sound applications and guitar racks. The rear panel features stereo in and out jacks and a convenient adjustable master level setting for either instrument level (-10 db) or line level (+4 db) sources. When using the dual footswitch, the user can remotely scroll through, bypass and tap parameter functions without accessing the front panel.
Guitarists will appreciate using the footswitch in conjunction with the FXP's guitar
performance features. A program's "mix" setting consists of various effects which
can be set to different ratios with the ability to store any parameter changes within a
custom (user) program.
