Parker Classics Offered in Five Colors

July 11, 1997 -- Parker Guitars announces that their Honduras Mahogany Fly Classics are now available in five colors: Metallic Root Beer, Transparent Cherry, Natural Mahogany, Teal, and the recently introduced, Transparent Blue.

Parker Classic solid body guitars are crafted from Honduras Mahogany tonewoods chosen for their great response and sustain. The instrument comes equipped with magnetic humbucking and active piezo pickup systems enabling the guitar to go from electric to acoustic sounds, as well as any combination.

The Fly Classic model features spring-tempered, stainless-steel frets, locking Sperzel tuning machines, a Fishman, active-piezo pickup system plus DiMarzio magnetic pickups. The guitar features controls for master volume, magnetic tone, magnetic volume, piezo volume, and piezo tone. A three-position humbucker selector gives the option of neck, bridge or neck/bridge inside coils for that "in- between" sound.

The Transparent Blue Fly Classic lists for $2850.00 The price includes a hard-shell, molded Hiscox case, and is available now.
