A R T Introduces the Dual Tube EQ
July 10, 1998 -- A R T introduces the newest member of its tube dynamics processor family - the Dual Tube EQ. The Dual Tube EQ may be used as a dual four-band, or mono eight-band parametric EQ and is designed to give users greater flexibility than what is typically found on budget recording and mixing consoles. The frequencies and Q were selected and tuned by several top recording engineers to excel with instruments that typically require equalization: kick and snare drums, toms, guitar, vocals, bass, etc.
Each channel features: selectable low shelving filter (40Hz or 1 20Hz), selectable high shelving filter (6KHz or 10KHz), Low-mid control (sweepable from 20Hz to 200Hz or 200Hz to 2KHz), High-mid control (sweepable from 200Hz to 2KHz or 2KHz to 20KHz), input and output level controls and a hand selected 12ax7a tube. The Dual Tube EQ features a custom extruded 1U rack chassis with an internal power supply and carries a three-year warranty. Retail price is $449.00. A R T's website is located at http://www.artroch.com.
