Bag End Trapezoidal TA2000 Loudspeaker System

July 10, 1998 -- BAG END Loudspeaker Systems is introducing its all-new trapezoidal BAG END TA2000 loudspeaker system to the music industry at the 1998 Summer NAMM show, July 10-12 in Nashville.

Year-in and year-out, one of the most popular and durable speaker series in BAG END's inventory has been the TA12 time-aligned series of loudspeaker cabinets. Using this workhorse series as a starting point, BAG END engineers completely redesigned the TA12 and produced the TA2000, a trapezoidal shaped cabinet designed specifically for musical sound reinforcement.

Additional features of the new TA2000 include improved Time-Aligned(tm) technology, an updated high-frequency driver and higher output than previous TA12 models.

"The TA2000 speaker system is more robust throughout, providing improved transient response," said BAG END sales manager John Vitale. "In addition, the reformulated cross-over offers increased power handling and smoother mid-range response."

And the TA2000 series still features BAG END's trade-marked Time Aligned(tm) clarity along with the high efficiency and wide dispersion that has made the TA12 series a sales leader for BAG END.
