Quad 4 New from DigiTech Studio

July 10, 1998 -- The new Quad 4 is the latest multi-effects processor to join the DigiTech Studio family. The equivalent of four separate processors in one, this 4-in/4-out powerhouse features a tremendous amount of flexibility for such an affordable package. From its high-quality 20-bit A/D and D/A converters for superb Signal-to-Noise specs (>92dB S/N Ratio) to increased performance capabilities, the Quad 4 is an indispensable tool for any studio or live environment.

The DigiTech Studio processor hosts several effect configurations selectable within each program; any effect can appear at any point in the effects chain. Select one of the multiple input/output routings to customize a signal path for use with any kind of effects loop, or auxiliary send and return, eliminating any repatching hassles. Thanks to its four independent inputs and outputs, the Quad 4 can even process up to four separate signals at the same time.

The Quad 4's S-DISC II(R) processing provides a huge library of award-winning effects including Compression, Rotary Speaker Simulator, Spring Reverb, Delay (up to 5.5 seconds), Reverse Delay, Vocoder, Stereo/Mono Sampler, Time Warp, Envelope Filter and more.

Additional features:

  • 4 inputs and 4 outputs, all with discrete signal paths
  • Impedance-balanced outputs
  • +4dBu/-10dBv switchable output
  • level Auto input leveling
  • Large backlit LCD 100 factory presets, 100 user presets
  • Real-time control of any effect parameters via MIDI, internal LFOs or dynamics
  • MIDI In, Out/Thru

The new Quad 4 is available at the highly value-conscious U.S. retail price of $479.95.
