Lower Priced Soundgear Basses Come To Nashville
July 10, 1998 -- For ten years, Ibanez Soundgear basses years have been the choice of many professional and "virtuoso" players who prefer narrow necks and active electronics. But "we also move a huge amount of Soundgear basses for the intermediate and budget player," stated Masashi Inoue of Hoshino. Two new examples of affordable Soundgears were show in Nashville. The SR300 with passive electronics returns for a limited engagement, this time with a natural finish as well as black. Making its first appearance is the SR390 with an ash body, transparent finishes, and active PHAT bass boost.
