New Brownsville Choirboy and Thug Guitars

Choirboy Thug

July 26, 1999 -- The new Brownsville Choirboy and Thug are flashy, fast playing and loaded with tough, edgy sounds that capture the funky attitude of the New York neighborhood they're named after.

Lean and mean, these slim, hollow body guitars produce a rich, super-resonant sound with maximum punch and definition.

Newly designed, low noise single coil pickups capture every shade of these guitars from big-bodied warmth to stinging highs and solid midrange rhythms. The Choirboy and Thug both feature a slim 24 3/4" scale length hard maple neck and fast rosewood fingerboard that make playing any style a breeze.

The "angelic" Choirboy features a single cutaway body design with special binding and an f-hole plus three single coil pickups with a five-way position switch for endless tone combinations. It is available in a variety of colorful metallic finishes including Burgundy Mist, Black and Sea Foam.

Born on the mean side of the street, the Thug features a compact single cutaway design with two single coil pickups with a three-way position switch, and a dazzling array of "Sparkle" finishes including Laser Blue, Red and Silver. Both guitars also feature precision tuning machines and a newly designed adjustable bridge.
