Gibson Announces ES-446S Guitar

July 23, 1999 -- Carved from a solid spruce top, braces that are carved from and incorporated into the top make the ES-446S a light guitar (approximately 6.5 to 7.5 pounds). The back this archtop guitar is one-piece mahogany, and it sports a pair of Les Paul '57 Classic pickups. Available finishes include antique natural, faded cherry, and vintage sunburst. List price on the ES-446S is $3650.
