Gibson Les Paul 30th Anniversary Deluxe

July 23, 1999 -- Gibson USA commemorates the 30th anniversary of the original Les Paul Deluxe with a new limited production model. Originally released in 1969 to replace the P-90 equipped Les Paul, the Deluxe featured the now famous "mini-humbucker" pickup. Gibson has faithfully recreated this pickup and added it to a modern Les Paul Standard to accurately reproduce the look and better yet, the crunch and bite of the original. Today's Deluxe features a one-piece mahogany back and neck, book-matched maple top, and vintage style tuners. Available for limited time in nitro-cellulose lacquered Ebony and Wine Red finishes.
