Roland Announces SR-JV80-17 "Country Collection" Expansion Board
July 26, 1999 -- Imagine having scores of realistic Nashville-influenced flat-pickin' guitars, banjos, wailing pedal steel sounds and rock-solid drum grooves available at the touch of a button. Roland has made all of this (and more) possible with the new SR-JV80-17 Country Collection wave expansion board, which gives expandable XP- and JV-Series synthesizer owners quick and easy access to hundreds of superb country music sounds. The user-installable Country Music wave expansion board includes many of the sounds associated with today's popular forms of country music, packing over 200 different country music waveforms and eight rhythm sets into a powerful card with over 200 Patches. This board includes banjo, metal hollow-body, fiddle, pedal steel, wash tub bass, drum and guitar sounds, and much more. Also included are distinct, recognizable phrases for each instrument. With the new Country Music expansion board, Roland furthers its ongoing commitment to releasing new genre-specific sounds for XP- and JV-Series instrument owners of all types. These boards are aimed at keeping Roland synths sounding "current" for years to come. For more information, visit Roland on the web at www.rolandus.com.
