New Line Affordable PA Line From Squier

February 6, 2000 -- Throughout the year 2000, Squier by Fender will be introducing a full line of affordable Pro Audio (PA) products. Initially, the new line will consist of an entire family of loud speakers that will be introduced at Winter NAMM in Los Angeles, soon to be followed by powered mixers.

The new Squier sound equipment adheres to Fender’s philosophy that every level of musician should be able to afford quality equipment and instruments to further their craft. Designed for beginners, part-time musicians and studio hobbyists, the new Squier PA line does just that - it offers musicians exactly what they need to enhance their performance at a price they can afford. Squier’s high standards of product quality will be upheld on imported models as well as those produced at Fender’s own state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

"Squier is a brand name that is synonymous with value," explains Keith Brawley, Vice President of Strategic Brands. "Whether its for a band getting started in the garage, or one that’s made the jump to the occasional weekend gig, Squier sound equipment offers incredible performance and quality while being affordable. For someone who wants to get into the game, it’s really the ultimate value."
