CD Package to Ship with Yamaha's A4000/A5000 Samplers

February 5, 2000 -- Yamaha will deliver a unique bonus package with the A4000 and A5000 digital samplers for Winter NAMM 2000 with the inclusion of a complimentary 9-CD native format sample library and tools CD. The set is currently available with the samplers, and separately.

"There has never been a collection like this before," states Athan Billias, marketing manager, Digital Musical Instruments. "With most professional sampling units, the user must purchase separate–and often costly–samples and tools software. The A Series samplers come with everything in one box to get you started right away."

Disk #1 contains all the essential software tools needed for editing, sequencing, sampling and looping: XG Works Lite V3.0, Yamaha Wave Editor TWE V2.2, A4000 and A5000 Plug-In Editor, and 98 audio loop tracks from AMG. Packages are compatible with either PC or Macintosh platforms.

Disk #2, Professional Studio Library "Standards", is a compilation CD with a selection of piano, organ, brass, string, woodwind, guitar, drum and other sounds. Disks #3 through #10, the Yamaha Professional Studio Library, each contain mono and stereo versions of specific instrumental sounds, loops, and DJ/Producer tools, conveniently organized by disk. Titles include "Real Drums" (Disk #7), "Piano/Keyboards" (Disk #3) and "Syntraxx/Loops" (Disk #9).

The materials found on Disks #7 through #10 are currently available for the A3000 Digital Sampler, and may be accessed at www.yamaha.co.uk. Users may also find additional information via third-party native support libraries on the Internet. These include VR Sound (www.vrsound.com), Teklab (www.samplelibrary.net) and many others currently in development.
