ART Dual Pre Mic Preamp

January 18, 1996 -- Applied Research and Technology introduces their DUAL PRE, a rack mountable dual channel microphone preamp.

In a single rack size unit, the A R T DUAL PRE offers all the features of the TUBE MIC PRE in a dual channel version. It offers a superb level of sound quality, using special tubes and integrated circuit design combined with a straightforward user interface for ease of use.

Using a transformerless design throughout, the DUAL PRE maintains exceptional signal integrity and extremely low noise. The unit can be used as a microphone preamplifier, but it can also be used as an acoustic or piezo pickup preamplifier to run directly into a console, amp, signal processor or recorder.

Featuring input and output gain controls, phantom power, phase reversal and input pad switches, XLR inputs and outputs, 1/4" inputs and outputs, an internal power supply and a power switch, the DUAL PRE is the perfect accessory for any recording application.

The DUAL PRE can be used to interface any instrument directly to a live or recording console's line input, amp processor or recorder. It can also be used as a direct box (particularly on bass).
