ART Pro MPA Mic Preamp

January 18, 1996 -- Applied Research and Technology introduces the PRO MPA, a two channel, rack mount tube microphone preamp.

The PRO MPA is a two channel preamplifier housed in a 1 rack space chassis. Each channel features a 12 AX7 tube, input and output level controls, phantom power, phase reversal, +20 dB pad and variable high pass filters (bass rolloff adjustable from 40Hz to 120 Hz).

The unit also features Balanced XLR inputs and outputs, 1/4" unbalanced instrument inputs) and 1/4" unbalanced outputs. Also, the unit has VU meters with an LED display that show the 'action' of the tubes.

Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A., the PRO MPA is powered by an internal power supply and has a front panel power switch.

The PRO MPA is designed as a primary microphone preamplifier for semiprofessional and top - of - the - line professional recording studios. It is also well suited for digital recording enthusiasts, as well as live sound and contract / install applications.
