DOD FX13 Gonkulator Modulator
January 18, 1996 --
The FX13, known as the "Gonkulator" is designed to add dimension to solos by taking the frequency sum and difference of a guitar's signal and blending it with DOD's Grunge(TM) distortion (The Grunge effect is in parallel with the ring modulation, and can be mixed together at the output). The overtones the FX13 produces are very "gonk"-like, bringing an old favorite back into the sound vocabulary for today's guitarist.
