DOD FX51 Juice Box
January 18, 1996 --
The FX51 "Juice Box" is designed to be used in front of an amp that is already distorted. By blending in a selectable amount of undistorted signal, the "peaks" continue to drive the amp while the Juice Box adds color and sustain. When used as the only source of distortion, the FX51 produces sounds ranging from an ultra-clear overdrive to a tube-like source of harmonics.
