DigiTech Studio Quad
January 18, 1996 -- DigiTech's new Studio Quad is a world-class digital signal processor featuring four completely independent inputs and outputs for paramount flexibility. Driven by DigiTech's proprietary S-DISC(TM) technology, the Studio Quad's extensive input/output routing abilities allow it to perform duties previously requiring four separate signal processing devices. Capable of providing an unlimited combination of effects and signal paths, the DigiTech unit virtually eliminates the need for expensive single-purpose processors. The ergonomically designed front panel of the Studio Quad introduces a new easy-to-use interface and large custom display to provide effortless control over a wide array of sonic textures. Offering a full complement of DigiTech's renowned professional quality studio effects, the Studio Quad also features automatic input leveling, real-time dynamic parameter modifiers, full MIDI implementation and multi-function effect modules for greater flexibility. The Studio Quad comes equipped with 128 preset factory programs with room for 128 additional user-defined settings. All input and output connectors are 1/4-inch balanced TRS. Analog-to-digital conversion is accomplished in stereo at 44.1 kHz using 18-bit, 128x oversampled delta-sigma converters, while 20-bit 64x oversampling devices handle the digital-to-analog chores. The Studio Quad has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz +/-1dB and respectable THD of less than 0.03%. Signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 90 dB. The manufacturer's suggested U.S. list price for the Studio Quad is $499.95. For more information, visit their web site at www.digitech.com.
