Emagic Zero Loss Audio Packer (ZAP)

For Macintosh and Windows 95

ZAP, Zero Loss Audio Packer for Windows 95 and Macintosh is a stand alone application that will allow users of any Digital Audio Application to archive their work via new technology in Digital Audio compacting. ZAP allows loss-free compression of digital audio data. Depending on the audio material, files can be compressed up to 50%. This new technology is based on nonlinear redundancy elimination. This method allows the user to compress digital audio data without any loss of information. When expanding the compressed files, the original audio data are restored with bit accuracy--no distortion, no frequency or phase deviations. There is currently no application available that can successfully perform this task without coloring and changing the audio in some way.
